FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR HOMEBUYERS & HOME IMPROVEMENT


The Township of Irvington Department of Community Development is pleased to announce the availability of funds for purchasing or rehabilitating a home in Irvington, as provided by the U. S. Housing & Urban Development program (HUD).

 

The Homebuyers' Program may assist your family with up to $10,000 for a downpayment &/or closing.

 

The department's Housing Rehabilitation Program may provide assistance for such home improvements as roofing, siding, windows or other items necessary to meet housing codes.

 

Should your family meet income guidelines as set forth by HUD, your family may be eligible to participate in these important programs. These HUD funds are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to those who qualify.
