EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION DEVELOPERS LAUNCH FUND DRIVE TO HELP DESERVING FAMILY

The news that Edgewood Properties and Century 21 Construction Corporation are Building a new Extreme Makeover: Home Edition home for the deserving Turner family of Irvington is enough to warm anyone's heart, but the first question that comes to the minds of many is: How will the family be able to maintain it?

Beverly Turner is a single mother who suffers from myasthenia gravis, a degenerative neuromuscular disease, with nine adopted special-needs children, and as any New Jersey homeowner knows, the costs of property taxes, homeowners insurance and home maintenance are significant.     That's why Jack Morris, president and chief executive officer of Edgewood, and Joe Marino, president of Century 21, have formed a fund, Building Dreams Together, to raise money for the family to help them with the upkeep of their new home and -- if sufficient money is raised -- to help meet their health and education expenses.

The Turner family's Irvington home was destroyed last year by fire. The family includes a blind, autistic child; six children with bipolar disorder; and a blind, quadriplegic child on a feeding tube.

The family's strength and optimism in the face of their loss has inspired the builders to come to their aid and they hope it will inspire other to give as well.

Please join us the developers and their families urge. Together, we can give this tragic story a happy ending. The developers are seeking contributions that will be donated to a tax-deductible 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, CDC Properties. The funds will be controlled by a trustee, who will distribute the money to the family, Alison Swartz, director of property management for Edgewood Properties and project coordinator, said.

Checks should be made payable to CDC Properties, Inc. and should be mailed to Edgewood Properties, Attention: EMHE Project 327, 1260 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, NJ. 08854. For more information, please contact Jana Ilkovic at 732-985-1900, ext. 155.     About Edgewood Properties
