CHECKLIST FOR A CLEAN IRVINGTON

Place household garbage in metal or heavy plastic containers with lids. |

Separate newspapers, cans and bottles from household garbage. |
|
Place a maximum of two bulk items (ie: mattresses, chairs) on second pickup day. |
|
Flatten and tie cardboard boxes and place at curb on second pickup day. |
|
Call (973) 399-6690 to make appointment for all metal appliance pickups. |
|
Tie all brush/branches/logs and place on curb on second pickup
day. |
|
Place plastic containers (ie: milk jugs, soda bottles) in recycling bins for commingled recycling (bottles, cans, plastics). |
|
Remove doors from all metal appliances prior to placing at curb. |
A FEW POINTERS!
- Attached appliance doors are hazards to children.
- Summonses will be issued for failure to make appointment
for metal appliance pickup.
- Do not place plastic containers with recyclable material.
