Reporting directly to Mayor Wayne Smith, the Office of Public Information is responsible for disseminating news and information about municipal departments and the Municipal Council to the public through the township’s internal media—Inside Irvington, the official newsletter; ITV 34, the public access television station; and the Internet—and through the external media: newspapers, cable and network television, and radio stations. The office also archives video footage, photographs and newspaper clippings that capture special events and newsworthy moments in the township.
