The department oversees the day-to-day operations of the municipal agencies, in accordance with the vision and goals as set forth by Mayor Wayne Smith. The Business Administrator is the point person for the Mayor's comprehensive strategic redevelopment plan. Budget management, policy development and execution, personnel management, labor negotiations, contract administration, and community relations fall under the departmental auspices. The business administrator is the personnel officer for the Township of Irvington.
