Dear Mayor Wayne Smith:

First, a very sincere congratulations to you in regards to your victory to become the Mayor of Irvington in your very first contest for the position. For many years, an abandoned building stood on the corner of Union and Chancellor Avenues. It must have haunted everyone who saw it in its abandoned state. However, thanks to you, Honorable Mayor, for demolishing this building in less than three months after being in office. If you and your administration could knock down that eyesore in so short a time, then I cannot wait to see the other great things that you have in store for the residents of Irvington.

Calvin Taylor
