 The Cullen Jones Aquatic Center

The Township’s municipal pool is located in Orange Park off Clinton Avenue behind the Irvington High School.  Last year the pool was renamed the “Cullen Jones Aquatic Center” in honor of his achievements in Olympic swimming as a former Irvington resident.

Each year our outdoor pool is open for the summer season during June thru Labor Day in September. The Pool is open six days a week from 11 AM till 6 PM Monday thru Saturday. Pool passes are issued to any Township resident family, individual or Senior Citizen. Swimming lessons are given by appointment two days per week.

Our plan is to enclose the swimming pool so that we can operate the facility year round. This will establish competitive swim teams and swim clubs.   By enclosing the pool we will be able to provide more instructional swimming as well as develop youngsters for competitive swimming.

The Township of Irvington is currently accepting funds for the Cullen Jones Aquatic Center to enclose the swimming pool. Anyone wishing to donate should make checks
